Alliance is proud to announce the ETL Certification (http://www.intertek-etlsemko.com/portal/page/cust_portal/ITK_PGR/CONTACT_US_LP_PG/ETL_LP/) of UL Standard 1838 (http://ulstandardsinfonet.ul.com/scopes/scopes.asp?fn=1838.html) for our line of fixtures. UL 1838 Certification (http://ulstandardsinfonet.ul.com/scopes/scopes.asp?fn=1838.html) is specifically for low voltage landscape luminaires operating at 12 volts or less. Each product will be labeled to identify the mark. This certification for the fixture line will now compliment our ETL Certification for UL Standard 2108 (http://ulstandardsinfonet.ul.com/scopes/2108.html) for our transformers, thus, creating a full line of certified products.

Question. The mark shown above is suitable for use here in Canada as it is a cETLus listing. Are all of your products being listed to this standard or just some?

Thanks

James,

Our ETL listing for fixtures covers most of the product line (all but two) and does not include CSA at this time. As we expand our markets, we will add CSA approval. Thanks for your interest.

There is no need to seek separate CSA listings as you can ask ETL to certify to cETL listing. Products probably meet the Standards now and will only require a different certificate/sticker from ETL
