i found an amazing 16 foot trailer for $900. nice right. now you can see my truck bellow 2500. do i need to get a dot and what is it eactly. also could a 1500 or f150 pull it do you think? Also can it get it at dot.

Unless you travel interstate you would not need one.

Yep. Apparently Duffster is correct. Your state doesn't require them.

any truck and trailer with a GROSS gvw greater then 17,000 pounds needs a dot number..so no you dont need one..
