Hi,

I have been noticing that in a lot of fescue lawns (in the northeast) there will be random sprouts of a tall, thick, faster growing, and lighter green colored grass in places.

any idea what this could be?

sorry i dont have a photo for you.

My threads are all over this forum on this very topic, first year I've seen it here also.

This weekend looks like a great time to kill whats left in my yard off.

MSMA mix 1 oz to a pint of water and paint on the sedge. Temps suppose to get up past 90 this weekend and it will kill the sedge dead in two days

Now, again depending on hom huch you have and how much time you can spend hand painting each weed is the question you'll have to ask yourself.

kind of off topic, but do you charge a customer to come and control the nutsedge? is this what companies consider "service calls" when they come to control a problem?
