That's the response I got this morning when I gave someone a quote of $55 per cut...

I said..... Is it that good?

She said..... Oh no that's expensive.. the last guy only charged $40.

I said... maybe he was a non profit organization???

Some people crack me up :D

Anyway.. I cut her lawn this afternoon (for $55)... and sold a soil test, aeration, lime, fert, aeration & seed, trimming and some landscaping.

She said... do you do leaves too?

I said... "OH MY GOD......... YES" ;)

Had an old lady call me from a referral of a LCO that was out of business. I did not know the guy that quit but he gave me as a reference because he knows of my work.

I give the old lady a 32 plus tax bid on her residence which is about 7k and she said "You are WAY out of line, Terry only charged me 15 dollars". I politely said that she should try to call some other guys or find a neighborhood kid.

I laughed the whole day just thinking about the look on her face when she heard my price. :p

is good that she feels comfortable consulting him about her lawn.
its always the same thing . some people just forget its 2002,
and a dollar just aint quite worth as much as in say 1990.
