I just was quoted 424.14 for a KM110 w/ the straight shaft trimmer attachment and am looking to see if that sounds like a good price to those of you who may have a better idea than I. BTW its from a local Stihl dealer about 5 minutes from my house. Thanks in advance.

Sounds fair to me. I know I paid slightly more than that for my KM130 and a straight shaft edger.

I paid 300$ for my 110 head, 100 for a curved edger, and 100 for the streight shaft trimmer.
I was luckey to get a little break on the head. 330 is what all the dealers want around here.

They told me they wanted 379 for the head. Larry, I got the same deal you did and this was after another dealer in town told me that all stihl dealers had the same prices. I tried for a few more $ of a discount but no luck.
Larry, do you have good luck w/ your setup? I don't intend on using it commercially but I have intense ares around my house so I would like to know how its been treating you.

The Kombi is a great setup and is a commercial product.

I like the Kombi, and plan on getting more attachments. The string trimmer head is easy to reload, I was a little worried about that but I rewound it eaisly. I may get more attachments later on, I also have the troybuilt change out system with most of those attachments, it now serves as my back up

Kombi is a great product and you will get years of use out of it. The price is about as good as you can do I think. Go for it- in a couple years you'll forget what you paid and just know you have a bada$$ machine with a lot of attachments.
To me, the convienience of a local dealer adds some value vs. driving much farther for a minimal savings. As a homeowner you're not going to get the deals that some pros get due to the smaller volume you're purchasing but that price sounds really fair.
