What kills Japanese Clover?

I have a bad case of Japanese Clover in my lawn as well as several neighbors lawns that I take care of. I used Scotts Summertime Weed and Feed as well as a couple of applications of Weed Be Gone (all of the rest of the clover and weeds died with the Weed Be Gone application).:confused:

Also, if I manage to get it under control in the lawns I am taking care of can it continue to be a problem if the other lawns in the neighborhood do not treat this?:cry:

I have heard that the only way to get rid of this is to dig it out of the lawn. In the case of my own lawn I would be better off killing the lawn and starting over which I did two years ago. I have neighbors on either side of me that don't kill their weeds so am I fighting a losing battle?

This clover has smaller leaves that are greenish brown and it has small yellow flowers.

Only thing that works for me is roundup...but in a lawn you'd have to spot spray...

Ortho makes a clover killer in a hose end spray bottle, works incredibe. If you follow the instructions. You apply 2-3 days after you mow, ( why I dont know, but if you apply it right after you mow it wont work) you will see a little leaf curl of the clover at first, and after a week you will think it didnt work, but in 2-3 weeks the clovers gone and you will see only lawn, read and follow the instructions and you will have a new business income because it really works,
