I have a 2007 John Deere 757 zero turn with only 150 hours on the unit and have had the hydraulic pump changed 3 times on the unit. The total bills for the unit have come over $10,000 for the three years I have owned the unit. John Deere agrees there is a problem and have changed the pump every time but have not figured out why the pump keeps failing. The service shop and technical support are at a loss but wont do anything to fix the problem of the pump failing. Im at a loss and ready to head to court but was wanting to know of anyone that i can contact at John Deere to take ownership of the problem and to fix the problem. I have seen one or two other people on the forum with the same problem of the pump. It shows really sluggish power on the left side and makes lots of noise unit the pump cant produce enough power to move the mower under its own power. Anything you can recommend would be great.
Thanks

Just curious... are you going to the dealer in Sheridan?

Yes......The Sheridan store service department has been really great and has worked hard at getting John Deere to pay for the repairs. The problem was with John Deere and getting them to engineer a solution to keep the pump from failing or taking the unit back.
About one hour after posting this on the forum, I received a call from the dealership. John Deere finally stepped up and are gong to make things right for me as a customer. I'm relieved someone finally took ownership of the problem and made John Deere do the right thing. Wish I didn't have to push so hard for a solution but I'm happy that John Deere and the store are stepping up with a solution.
I would recommend the sales department in Sheridan and ask for Guy. Guy really worked hard for me as a customer and I will be doing more business with him in the future.

Hard to live with something when it wouldn't move on its own power. I dont care how much noise it makes because I wear hearing protection.

Glad to hear they are taking care of you. My last lawn tractor I had was a cheap JD from Home Depot and they really took care of me on it. Even warranty work they took care of quickly for me. So last year when I decided to get a real JD tractor I bought my X360 from them. Their service is what sold me.
