I have a BR 320 that is about 8 yrs old, but is only used on the weekends and maybe a little bit more during the fall.
Recently, the spark plug wire became corroded. I decided to change the whole electrical part. I changed that, then took off the muffler to make sure that the port was not clogged ( just in case). After I assembled the unit and got it started a hear a noise coming from the engine. A few seconds later it stalled. I tool the spark plug out and took off the muffler again to make sure everything was ok. I blew the port out and then tried to start it. It ran ok, but there is a sound still coming from the engine. It is kind of a whining sound, hard to explain.
What might it be? Possibly some dirt/carbon in the piston area?
