I have a 48" Fastrak with a 19 Kawi that I bought last summer. I kept my JD LX178 also. I just recently put the Hustler bagger system on my Fastrak and I'm really disappointed in it's performance. My JD will suck up everything off the lawn - leaves, twigs, acorns, you name it. The Fastrak will pick up the grass clippings but nothing else. I figured for a $1600 bagger this thing would do an awesome job, but it won't suck up anything except the grass clippings.
Any help or advice? I know it's installed correctly, I've tried cutting at different heights, I've tried standard blades, Gator blades and wavy blades. The Gators seem to do the best job but it's still very disappointing. I end up having to use my JD every few cuts to clean the lawn up and make it look really nice and manicured.
