Situtational question

Say you have a designer, what would you charge him for brick and block, if he was doing his own patio at his own home. Using the companys equipment, and is willing to pay for that to, do you mark up the brick and block knowing that he runs these numbers all day long? So he knows what cost is,trucking and such?......

Not really a question we can answer.

If you need money and don't really like the guy - then sock it to him.

If you like the guy - then do it at cost.

If you don't want him to call another contractor then do it at cost.

If you're behind on your skid loader payments - then charge him full price.

If your kids don't have new shoes for school - then charge him full price.

If you owe him a favor - then do it at cost.

If he has a lonely house wife and is hot - then do it for free and maybe you'll get lucky.

This is a topic only you can answer.

Hes a designer/sales and runs the crews.

So he brings in the money for the year.

if he pulls his weight, then just charge him cost.

if he doesn't then mark it up.

As DVS said, you're the only one who can make that decision.
