Dead Fescue

I put in fescue sod and left for a week. The timer got shut off (girlfriend):confused: and the fescue was dead by the time I got back. It never took. I'm going to resod but this time with bermuda. What is the best way to get dead sod up?

Same way you put it down,with your hands.

If it didn't take you can just pull it up piece by piece and then dump it.

I would pile it on the corner of the property and use in as composted topdressing in the garden next year.
