How much to pay for used exmark?

I know a guy selling a used Exmark. Might be a Metro or something similar to that. Serial number dates it to 1993. Not sure of number of hours on motor. Motor is Kohler Command 14. Has been recently serviced. Plug, coil, belts etc. Start with one pull. Runs good, cuts good. Comes with Velke. No noticble oil leaks. Was used by a city before current owner. Current owner uses for personal 2 acre property.
$750- Good buy for me, or just good by?

An old piece o' krap lawn tractor that runs and cuts goes for $350 or more here. A commercial wb that starts easy, runs & cuts good, with velke, new belts, might be found for less than $750, but probably won't be easy to find.
