these are not the best by any means. was too dark out already. this was after an hour of use on super tall grass after the latest ff application. the pics do not give it justice. the grass scraped off like hot butter falling off a knife:cool2: didn't even take me 2 minutes to clean the deck back off and you can still feel the ff after i scraped the deck clean:)

That's funny. It looks like I'm stuck at 999. I don't think that posts in the Fluid Film forum add to your post count. That's just wrong. They should count for two as far as I'm concerned.

Do you us FF on the quick all the time and since new? Sure is a lot of rust on the deck if you do...... Mine is about the same age as yours and I have never used nothing on the deck and it has no rust....

Not knocking FF or anything just curious as FF didn't do much for my deck.

i use it all the time and since new. where i live everything rusts because of the amount of humidity that's always in the air, the constant dampness and crap like that. i don't have a current picture but there hasn't been a spec of rust on the deck since i installed the mulch plate. the only time there was rust was when i was using the discharge chute. the paint didn't even make it threw the first 5 hours of operation. it came off in sheets! no primer or anything underneath, just bare metal. the machine sits outside so add the dampness and it's no wonder it rusted. i've yet to figure out how many hours an application lasts but on average i coated it after doing all 7 lawns we take care of 1 time. however, it has gone at least 2 cuts on all 7 without being coated and you can still feel traces of the previous application.

I figure I'd try to help a bit. The gun does apply pretty evenly but comes out pretty heavy. He'll have to help with the PSI question...b/c I just plug mine into the compressor, aim, and spray. I would say they are definitely the way to go. Kellsport has them and might I suggest getting a couple extra of the containers. It comes in handy to have them pre-filled.

most def applies evenly. i made mods to the tip though to cut down on how thick it sprays. plenty of pics on here somewhere. i keep my compressor between 90-100 but i would imagine it will shoot at less. i prefer the gallons to the cans in a lot of ways but prefer the cans to the gallons for things as well. the gun is def the way to go though. give me a call when ya get a chance or i'll try you if i can find your number:waving:
