Hi everyone,

Saw this on craigslist for $2500. I know they don't make stuff like they used to. It has a 66" deck, the nice large turf tires (stand probably about 3 1/2 feet high). Should the age scare me off? I looked online and it looks like this thing only used International engines. The owner is local and has replace alot of what would need to be after 37 years. He's only had it 3 years.

Any input?

Go for it, we had a neighbor back in PA that had one and when we went to visit my aunt and uncle back in July I saw him out mowing with it. Those things are as tough as nails and will run forever if you maintain it. If he replaced everything that needed to be should last another 37 years. It looks to be in real good shape.

I would jump on something like that. The 154 was a true IH tractor. The belly mower for areas you don't want to take your Exmarks into. With a 3 point and PTO you can use other attachments. Yes parts should be easy to come by too.

I would love to have a tractor like that.
