How to stay busy during winter months

Hello group,

I have been thinking about ways to keep busy during the winter months when mowing is at a minimum. I know, most of you will say service your equipment. However, there is only so much servicing of equipment to be done and then I still have 2 1/2 months left to find something to do.

Any suggestions?

The first few years is really tuff. Most people find another job to keep the incoming going. Once you have been in business long enough you will be able to save during the summer months and easily have enough money so you can vacation during the winter. Sounds unbelievable but it is the truth.

We always go on vacation. useually another country where it's warm. taking the crew so that they stay healthy, last year we went and hiked Machu Picchu

Hanging christmas lights (sorry, HOLIDAY light, I don't want to offend anyone) seems to be a big business for some. You can charge to hang the lights and then charge to take them down a few weeks later.
