Well i have been having a hell of time trying to control these things. I dont really do many lawns so I have to backpack it all. But this sucker just doesnt want to die and its spreading good in all my lawns. Kinda acts like clover just tougher. Only way i have seemed to be able to kill is to dang near spray roundup on it. At least I have to spray so hot that it kills all grass around it.

It looks a lot like clover. But has a woody stalk. I am thinking it might be Lespedeza but im not for sure.

Nope defiantly not it. spurge is milky. This is like a bush. It is very woody. When it grows bigger it has a hard wood root.

It is Lespedeza. Manor (metsulfuron) will kill it. If you don't have or can't use Manor, spike your 3-way/Trimec with Turflon ester(triclopyr). That should take care of it as well.

Yes, and cattle love it. Back when, we'd plant it for a hay crop.

Ok thanks. I thought that was it but wasnt sure. And wasnt sure as to what would kill it. Im getting ready for my next round in a few weeks and wanted to make sure that what i sprayed would finally kill it.'

Thank you.
