I could use a little advice on ibid

I just recently took a phone call from a property manager that is looking for lawn care for this property. I have never came across something this large so I figured I would turn to you all for advice on how much time it would take me and another person with two 48in ztr's. We have to trim around obstacles and clean the grass clippings from the walkway's. They are asking for a fertilizer bid and trimming up shrubs around the complex. Any advice from you all would be greatly appreaciated and help lock in this account for me.

OK, here is my suggestion.

Looks like a lot size of approx 750 x 750 feet, or put another way, about 13 acres.

You'll have alot of sidewalk edging and blowing to be done. Appears that the center of the property where the clubhouse and pool are located would be the "bagged" area. All other mowable areas could be side-discharged assuming you cut every week. Otherwise it's bag all of it!

Here is what I'd do. Wheel out each parking lot, wheel out each building, then deduct that from the 562, 500 square feet (13 acres) and price according to complexity eg; trimming, planting beds, trees, parking islands.

This property very well may be done with some 21" (bagging if needed) and a 36-48" w/bagger.

If this is your first foray into the commercial market, be upfront about it with the management. Don't be afraid to be honest with them. Follow up with them after each service date so they know that you are who you say you are.

Good advice 2Seasons........

That's a nice property. Don't forget to figure in mulch for mulching. Also, a place like that will want hedge trimming/bushes done at least three times a season.
