Tonight I leveled and calibrated my deck. Just for clarification: If the front measures 4.25in on each side from the floor to the bottom of the deck and the back measures 4.25 on each side from the floor to the bottom of the deck it will have the 1/4in pitch automatically?

To be 100% on this you need to measure from the blade tips.
Rotate the blade so it is parallel to the frame of the mower, front to rear, tehn take your measurement from the floor up at the front of the blade and then the rear.
Tell me what you have.

Well my leveling didn't go as expected. I will try my best to put this into understandable text. I followed the directions to a T... BUT when I finished it would barely go in the transport deck lift slot. It would go, but there was no room to spare. I then went and cut. Needless to say I left more stringers than I ever have. So I figured I needed to adjust the pitch. When I measured all four corners at the 3 setting all corners were even. So then I raised the back of the deck 1/4 in. When I tried to raise the deck to the transport slot it wouldn't go in. I ended up calling my dealer and taking it to him saturday. He told me that the holes for the deck lift are just references and it shouldn't be used as a true measurement. He said he would try to fix what I did. Still not sure what I did wrong. What do you think?

Its not the easiest to do, your dealer should be able to take care of it easily though.
