you know its funny, i hadnt ever heard a bad thing about Scag until i found this site. around here(louisville) and even the tri-state area(tenn, indy, ohio) all you see is orange. im not a bandwagon man by any means, i demoed everything under the sun before getting the TT. i tried everything from Dixon(mainly as a joke) to Dixie Chopper. the hustler super Z wasnt out yet when i bought my TT(2000) though, that will proabably be my next ZTR, if not, another TT will suit me fine.

thanks for the complements!

I don't know about the rest of Tennessee but here in Nashville about all I ever see is Exmark Lazers. A few Scags, JD's, Hustlers...but TONS of Lazers.

That Turf Tiger does leave some nice looking stripes...what's your secret, LawnSmith? :)

Great! Now maybe someone can teach ME how to post pics on here! If ANYone is able to help me, PLEASE let me know, if maybe we could arrange a time, and get on IM and walk through the steps necessary. This would be so greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Lawnsmith,
Beautiful job and nice pics.
Give us a little background info on the job.
Total Square footage to mow?
Is most mowing done with 1 mower or more?
Total time to mow?
Trim time?
Do you fertilize and w/c?
Any add-ons, aeration, dethatch?
How long have you maintained the property?
If you want, what is price per cut in your area for this lawn?

Hopefully I will be able to get my head above the water soon and get a camera and post some of my properties with the same type of info. I am not looking to pry into anyones business but just compare how we all do things in different markets.
Nice Job again!

i have a friend of mine hosting my pics. I will get mine up too soon. Nice stripes man they look good, i have some of decent stripes, but i tool them this past week when it was wet, so i didnt have great vacuum for lift because of the clumping under the deck. some are from a 1993 523" scag walkbehind with 3000 hours on it. ill post thoses when i figure it out

once again nice stripes

LawnSmith did you ad anything toget your tt to stripe so well. I have 52" tt and it doesnotstipe half as well. Was wondering about stipe kit. Is it worth it? Kevin

those were done w/ a 61" TT with a standard deck and standard blades. does your TT have the advantage deck? i have found that the advantage deck doesnt stripe quite as well as the standard deck. as a matter of fact i dont see any "advantage" to an advantage deck.

to asnwer your question(s) in short, i havent modified the mower(s) in any way.

yes, has advantage deck. How have you modified?

you are in the same boat i was in. you have compress the files and/or resize them. unless you already have a photo compression program(i didnt) you will have to d-load one from the net.
do a search on Ai Picture Utility and see what comes up. thats the program i used.
