PJ,

I finally purchased the flex forks for my Super Z. I really like the smoothness of the ride with them. However, when I was done cutting grass, I had dips and digs all over the yard. I cut the grass at the same height all the time, 3”. I was really disappointed with the cut quality when using the flex forks. I used them one time. At $250, that was a big price to pay just to try them out. I wish I would have known this before I purchased them or I would have never purchased them. I contacted my dealer (Woodward Outdoor Equipment) in Middletown, Delaware and he said he could not refund them since they were used unless Hustler would give him a credit for them. I need your help with this. What should I do?

Thank you,
Bill

You need to give them some more chances.
You need to learn how to drive the mower with them installed, slower stops primarily.
Also check your tire pressure to make sure they aren't to low.
If you still dont like them let me know and I will see what I can do.

PJ, I found out about the stops quick enought. I problem is that the ground in no flat, it can be kink of bumpy and therefore leaving digs or low cuts in the yard. If I slow down to a crawl, then fine but that defeats the whole purpose of have a Super z in the first place. So now what?

I can get in contact with our regional manager and he can talk to the dealer about you returning them.
Please email me your details and your dealer information and I will do so.
