I have a 2000 chevy silverado, part of the heater hose fitting broke off into the hose. I can't get the rest of the fitting off though. I was told it is a "quick disconnect" but it won't push and turn, it won't screw off, or it won't pull off. Any suggestions?

Would this happen to be on the intake manifold ?

If so is the hose loose from the manifold now ?

you will need a quick disconnnect tool http://www.toolfetch.com/Category/Automotive/Line_Disconnect_Tools/LIS37000.htm they have them at your local autoparts store such as pepboys or oriley's ect... Simply pop the tool behind the fitting and pull it off. The tool pushes the inner tabs back so it will release off of the fitting. hope this helps!
