warranty on truck??

I am about to purchase a truck and this is the second time i ran into this problem....Well when i sign up for the extended warranty on the truck i get denied because i am putting a plow on the front of it. Any advice out there

yessir, NEVER i mean NEVER say more than you need to. in other words be as VAUGE as possible. it saves me money all the time:laugh: yes i pay business insurance and taxes. Playing by the book sometimes screws the hardworking honest folk and i got sick of bein nice so a wrote a new book!

you can buy an extended warranty anytime up until your factory warranty expires... juts wait and buy it later...

and when you bring it in for warranty are you going to remove the plow mount?

A warrenty is a gamble where the house has the advantage. Every time they try to talk me into one I tell em " If this truck is such a PITA that I have to spend money for when it breaks down, I dont want to buy it" they lighten right up.

well if i went in with the don't ask don't tell policy would that be considered insurance fraud if they found out? It just sucks that i cant warranty a truck if i put a plow on it.

once they find out that you are doing commercial work, most places won't offer extended warranties.. At least I never had any luck years ago in Fl..

some warranties are nullified by vehicle modifications, whether it be swamp buggy tires/wheels, aftermarket intakes, exhausts, plows, non factory tow packages.....ect...

My neighbor had a honda odysey minivan that he had a honda installed tow package... for towing a 2K lb boat. tranny went out, honda tried to deny the claim. But when they realized that there were no exclusion in the warranty for honda installed tow packages, they had to eat it...

The key is be careful when modding your vehicle.
