How long would it take two people to lay 245 rolls of sod. The sod covers ten square feet. What should I charge to lay it. the area is 2448 sq ft.

do you have a machine to move the sod?
are there a lot of cuts, or is it one big open area?

on half of it i have to put down top soil and the rest is dead grass,weeds. I plan on tilling it, leveling it then sodding it by hand. the so will be on my trailer right next to where i am laying it.

just to lay the sod down real quick, i'd say 2-3 hours.

if you're tilling and adding soil, i'd plan on a full day.

have you layed sod before?
put down a starter fertilizer before laying sod.
keep the seems tight.
you can use a carpet knife to cut the sod, or a flat spade or hand edger.
