Anyone using one of these? I'm considering the 61" 31hp, and wondering how you guys using one are finding it cuts. You know, the usually issues: wet grass, tall grass, clumping, stragglers, etc. And what grass type are you cutting with it.

Thanks.

I use one and its ten times better than the regular stander. 61/31 cuts like a dream

I've got a demo of the zk and stander rh on the 30th of this month, so I am quite excited to see how they both cut. And since my next mower will be some type of stand on mower, I've been spending alot of time researching stand on mowers.

Thanks for the feedback guys. Appears not a lot of people are using this rig. Looks like if we get one of these, Brad, we'll be in a small minority. I never minded walking to a different beat, especially when I like the tune.

I mow Tall Fescue grass at 4+ inches height. It cuts very well. I also like to use double blades...ever smoother.

We demoed the 52 inch/31 hp Stander ZK, the 61/31 and the 61/37hp versions this summer. They are all amazing, and we are purchasing one in about 6-8 weeks for a nice tax write off and addition to the fleet next year. I have an old stander that is just awesome too, but I can't get over the ZK. What a sick piece of equipment

Which one are you going to get ? 52/61...27/31/37 ?

I believe the 31hp/61cut seemed to make the most sense. The 37hp drank even more gas and I didn't notice a difference in cut quality, so it seemed unneccesary. The 52" was awesome too, but since we won't be bagging grass with it anyways, there is no reason to get the smaller deck either. That mower was even faster and smoother than my Dixie Chopper, just unreal

Dixie, thanks for the input. I'm still trying to get the demo unit brought down from Denver so I can give it a run on my lawns. If I decide to get one, I'm doing the same as you; saving $2000 off list by taking advantage of that super seasonal buying program they have.

I have an old wright stander 1998 model with 2000 + hours and it gives a great cut, just a little slow in her old age compaired to the new ones, but never no problems with it,
