Where have i been?

ok, back to the topic at hand.

i searched and got some info on the tanaka edger, you know the gear driven monster.

i'm interested in getting one of these and i was told they weren't going to be available in the states much longer.

anyone else heard that? know where a guy can get one online?

thats for your help.

Joe,

Don't know where site is (tanaka.com????)
Anyway, I have 2 of the 550's and I love them. After 2 seasons, I had to replace tha throttle cables. They run great, edge great and no belts to adjust!!! Just keep the cutting head area clean of mud when edging wet and/or overgrown stuff. Much better than the LW's and even better than my old scag IMHO.
BTW, just recheck your local tanaka dealer re: the US Sales - may have problem meeting carb tier2, but I doubt it since they also make line trimmers, hedge trimmers and other 2 cycle equipment.
