I have a BR 600 Blower and a FS 80 Trimmer, that are in need of a new carb.
Is there any where else besides my local dealer to buy parts for these machines?

Stihl doesn't allow sales over the Internet so finding parts can be difficult at best.
Before you replace the carb did you check the impulse line? If it becomes plugged it can make the engine act like it needs a carb repair/replacement.
See the Stihl repair manual here to properly diagnose your Stihl's problems.

I have an FS85 and FC85, and they have a Zama carb. Parts can be bought on the open market for Zama carbs (e.g. rebuild kits). Perhaps full carbs can also be bought outside the Stihl network. When I bought rebuild kits, I wasn't looking for new carbs, but it is worth a try. The problem is to find the Zama carb model. In my case, the carb had to come off in order get access to the model number.
A place to start:

There are other sources available. One you can try is Lawnmowerpros.com. Here is a page that has SOME Stihl carbs on it, but if you call, they can get you anything.
Zama is the way to go I have rebuilt sthil Carbs., as they mostly use Zama's just get the number off the existing Carb. and you can order Zama stuff from Jacks small engine.
A rebuild kit will run 12-18 bucks, most of the time the diaphragm stiffens up and does not pump the fuel. I may look ok but it not just do the rebuild thing the only thing left is the Aluminum housing and that is usually fine. A new Zama Carb. will run 80-100 bucks.
