It's been the year of the light shower in my neck of the woods, and even those are few and far between. Rainy season normally ends out here in May-June (and those months are normally very light) so I don't expect much relief this year.

Only good news is the 'experts' are saying El Nino might make an early comeback next year. Thirty days of constant rain sure can screw up my schedule, but it really gets the phone ringing! :D

Rain...rain...rain...mow like a madman for a day or two....rain...rain...can't seem to get totally caught up. Just when I get within 3 to 5 lawns of being on schedule...rain...rain...

I'm not complaining. It's money falling from the heavens! :D

I wish I could share it with you "dry" guys...we've had plenty to go around...and then some!

I'd be happy to take 1/2 that rain you're getting. First rain of the year today but not enough to wash the dust of the street. Looking like it could be one of those real weak mowing seasons here.

Nelson,

I wish there were a way to send it to you!

I just watched the 7 day forecast and they are calling for more thunderstorms here on friday, saturday, sunday, monday, and of course, tuesday.

Looks like I need to do 26 lawns....TOMORROW!

That is, providing it don't rain some more tonight.

We are totally SATURATED.

Dance over to my window and put your nose up to it. It rains 4 or 5 times a week.

Pennies from heaven. I just have to squeeze my work in between.

The rain here just waits for me to step outside. Seems like the last 2 weeks all it does is rain. I am watching it rain now. I know in a little over a month, I'll be begging for rain and you other guys will be wanting it to stop. I guess that's the way it goes.

nine inches under here in PA. Good News is we are starting to get some rain. Bad news can't get all the lawns done.

Hey Nelson have a rain report for us. Small chance of rain this month.IN 4 weeks when the Gulf and Alantic waters warm up we will have afternoon storms. So we have to get thru one month of this.

I finally bought a 'rain suit' today...I must consign myself to mowing in the rain (and scraping the mush from under the deck) now or I'll get too far behind.

Not quite enough lawns to justify hiring a helper...but too many to stop for rain.

A rock and a hard place......at least for the next week or two.

It could be worse (too dry). :)
