yeah i had a nice old dodge i used for fall cleaup last yr and i also restored a nice old chevy k30 4x4 last winter .i found this truck in east haddam on a dead end street where i was doing a gravel driveway.this truck is tight,it was owned by a retired state trooper who used it to haul hay for his wifes horse and haul firewood for the house, and most of the time it sat in the garage.i love the old iron.

Does the parking brake not work?, since I see you have bricks under the left rear tire.

i move the speakers i have to put something behind the rear tire.

The exterior looks great. The interior needs some work.

Ha, that sucks...

Heres what you will need...**
1 Case of Beer
2 Weekends
3 Angle Grinders
4 Friends (3 to grind, 2 to watch and drink your beer)
5 Packs of Grinder Discs (better go with the value pack {10 per pack})

Post some pics when you start, work and have it finished...

**Disclaimer- This is assuming that your leaf box is metal...

Any updates on this truck? I seen your other trucks you have sold. After all that work on your blue one to sell it.

How do you like shifting these old trucks. I'm glad my 77 ford is an auto.

For future reference where did you get the hose and for how much? Great to see her all dressed up, the sign looks great. I have the same tubing running from the box to the loader. I sanded it, primed it and painted it red to match all the other stuff.

Cool, it's good to know in case I wind up with a hole in the rubber tube. Unforunately, I didn't take any pics for the painting of the tube, it was such a quick job that I didn't bother, but now I wished I had. lol As far as the process, I just sanded it with a coarse sandpaper to ensure the primer would stick because it was plastic and slick. After that, I primed it in black and spray painted it with a high gloss red. I had to put it on two cinder blocks and paint both sides and the top, let it dry, turned it over and painted what was left. I only have estimates to do this Friday and I'm free after 2:30 if you want some help. I have some spare sandpaper and extra primer if you need it.
