Im thinking of getting a new super z. I want a 60 " deck, any thoughts of the best engine for that mower. A 25 hp too small for as fast as that mower cuts? thanks!

I would go with what you can afford within your budget for the mower.
Obviously if $$'s aren't a issue then I would go with the 31hp Kawasaki.

Id go with the 36hp LC EFI kawasaki. But since that engine dosent exist yet. Go with the 31 till kawasaki takes my advice in thier R&D dept!

I had a regular 60" Z with the 24 HP Honda. I now have a 66" Super Z with the 31 HP Kawasaki. There absolutely is no substitute for horsepower. You can slow down or cut back on the throttle if necessary but you can't call for the horses that ain't there!!!!!

I own a 60" Super z with the 28 Kohler EFI and love it!!! however it did come with a 12k price tag . 600 hours no problems and great fuel use.

My than satisfied with my "ALL AMERICAN" 30 HP Kohler/60". I mow everything from a 12 acre church to any residental lawn it will fit on. I would recommend it all day long.
