I have a small landscape maintenance company that I am selling. I am getting out of the business and moving to another state.

The company itself consists of 100 + residential customers which are very close together. Customers have everything from weekly mowing, fertilization, mulch, irrigation on/off maintenance, spring/fall clean ups, aeration, seeding, etc.

Gross is around 125K
Net around 50K

The equipment consinsists of a 36, 54, 61 inch, new style, floating deck hydro bobcat mowers. Various Redmax 7001 & 8001 blowers, redmax string trimmers, stick edgers, hedge trimmers, enclosed trailer, open trailer, one POS truck with Dump insert.

Located in Camden & Burlington County New Jersey.

No pictures of equipment. I will only sell entire package unless an established landscape company only wants the accounts.

How many dry hours does it take with how many guys to mow all acounts including travel time?

Besides pesticides license what paper work would I have to file with the state of NJ. ?

The route takes about 45 hours to complete with 4 guys. You will probably need two crews, one crew for cutting, one crew for landscaping. Who knows where you could take this thing, I don't want to go bigger. Most customers have been with me for over 5 years some 9 years, my work is good and the people in developments respect my work/name. As far as the asking price, I do not know yet. I have to sit down with my accountant and some other people to discuss what they think the business is worth.

I am just putting this out here now and I will contact any serious buyers in the off season. I plan on selling over the winter. I will stay on as an advisor/worker for a bit of time in the spring.

I am owner operated so I am always in the field. You will need your own employees.
