We recently bid on 2 large condo complexes and got the jobs starting Jan 1st. and here is how I got them. While I am sure some of you have done this before and it has been talked about here (I assume) I got the idea from my cousin when he was getting into the biz 20 years ago. In most contracts it states Spring, summer, fall and winter planting. Well I added seasonal decorating in the main entrances. So in winter holiday lighting, Halloween gets huge pumpkins and hay bails along with corn stalks of coarse mums. In the spring I proposed of coarse tulips and theses neat colored lighted glass balls that go between the tulips (looks really cool). Summertime gets the 4th of July with little flags with red & white begonias. The add on was minimal and I was told no one else offered this. The main thing is to stay away from anything that has religion. Just go with a seasonal them. Oh, we also through in 2 credit cuts for free that they can use at there discretion in times of extreme precipitation. If they don't use them they loose them.

Great Idea. I'm going this afternoon to bid on a condo complex and may use some of your ideas. Thanks for sharing. I like the seasonal decorations!

Hmm....sounds like a good idea to me. If it helps you get the bid, more power to you!

Great idea as long as it's a small area. Good selling point
