If your area is anything like mine, naturalawn is the largest competitor.

Lets bounce some advertising ideas around regarding real organic vs naturalawn.

Does their poor quality not help sell your company enough?

Every lawn they have near me is chocked full of crabgrass and weeds.

Organic ingredients: (state your materials)

Naturalawn ingredients: ????
(per their website they will not disclose exactly what they apply only that it is "proprietary")

I walked into a distributor in CT this spring and there was a bag of what looked like fertilizer on the floor with the naturalawns logo on it

The bag stated 0-0-0 on the label with no micronutrients, I asked our guy "what's this?". he said that is their mid season application. I said what is it, we opened the bag and it was gravel, small pencil lead sized pieces of gravel, looked like granite to me but I don't know

I have never been able to understand that one,i have heard of rock powders being used but this stuff would take decades to break down. I wouldn't want to be the next mower on site after that application you would have to sharpen you blades 3 times a day

I do know they are suing a good friend in New Jersey who uses the same name and has long before they were in New Jersey, they didn't bother him for over 11 years, but he is starting to get big and they see him as a threat. They have much better resources than he does, he will probably have to cave or face expensive lawyers fees

I worked there for a short period doing sales. It was pretty bush, and I was disappointed with the products. They had a few different fert formulations, but I would describe it as more organic based like Nutrients Plus 20-1-5. They spot treated lawns instead of blanketing. The only good product they had was a 9-0-4 corn gluten.

To tell someone you are putting fertilizer on their lawn, and apply something like that, is fraud in my opinion.
