Whats a SDS adaptor? We carry core drilling equipment. Do you need a bit for Sewer and Drain?

Sds is the grooves in the bit, and in the chuck.
SDS is the little guy about 3/8s" SDS MAX is more like 3/4" I would say. There is also a sds plus in the mix but only seen the bits, never the chuck.

What are you trying to core drill? Your going to do this with a gas powered handheld drill????

I saw a solid (non core) bit at a stone yard that sells masonry tools. It was huge, 1 1/2-2" solid bit. It said SDS somewhere Im pretty sure. anyway, I wondered if there was an adapter to put a chuck into the threaded husqvarna handheld core drill for another style of stone drilling. Probably no such thing. They are intended for rotary hammers. Only benefit would be not having to fish out the cored material.

You can go from sds max to sds. Which would bring you down to about 3/8s which would fit in any chuck.
