goal= [U]looking for a lawn that will be darkish green naturally,strong looking and drought resistant... unfortunately i havent found a site that shows pictures of a certain type of seed mix,brand or blend showing the end result..no clue why they are not around

the pics are of 165x40..(i worked a third at a time) of space that i cleared and am seeding.i used Pennington landscapers choice thinking it would a professional seed,im not thinking that at the moment the second i used was Pennington north east mix also

the pic with the 2 section separated by the trees: the far right is pngtn lndscprs choice and on the left side i used it in the rear of the pic(you can see the difference in color...the same pic in the foreground it north east mix.... the north east looks flimsy and week?...its down for about a month..used strater fert and recently fertilized again..

what do you guys sugest i use...brand and type..of commom brands

You need sod. The sod farm the sells to Yankee Stadium is now selling their sod in the Metro area Home Depots.
If not, maybe you want a variety that is dark green, Like Blueberry:

Combine that with "Paragon" for dark green:

You may have to buy in 50 lb bags--but keep shopping. The Seed Superstore my have it in smaller bags.

Scotts is usually darker green than Pennington varieties. You really cannot tell from the Prnnington names, if the seed inside is really good or not. You many have some trouble because of excess shade near the woods.
