used exmark 48 price?

i was at the dealer today, and saw this 2 year old metro that looked hardly used. i asked him about it and he said it was a homeowners who didnt need it. iits ran well. and all parts looked good....belts, tires, blades. it has the koler 15hp. he wanted $1500 i oferd him $1400 he said ok. i got till moday to think on it. i think im gettin a steal but thats just my thought. what do you all think

fixed deck or floating? gear drive or hydro? any idea of how many hours might be on it? he is a dealer and they can "restore" them fairly easily. just something to keep in mind. sounds like a good deal so far.

Bottom line, if you feel good about the sale stick with it. It sucks to be happy with something and then learn that you got ripped off. For example I recently bought a 2 year old 48" snapper for $1400 and just heard that someone got a similar Exmark (much, much better brand) for the same price. I thought I had a preety good deal, now I am just pissed! Haha.:cry:
