Permagreen Magnum - Purchasing advice

I am currently looking at purchasing a used Permagreen Magnum (my first ride on). I came across an 05 or 06 (guy is not sure of the year) Magnum with 250hrs. He is asking $2,600. It appears to be in great shape. Wondering if that sounds like a good price? Also, is there anything specific I should look at before purchasing? Thanks

That sounds like a fair price. I sold 2 Magnums last year for around $3200. ea
check the engine block where it sits on the frame for corrosion. other than that just general maintenance. things that I replaced on mine were carb, pump, spinner gearbox, trans axle and front tires.

Check under machine leaking oil from motor.
Check that both tires spin freely when leaning machine over(trans)
New motor $1000
New trans $1000
