A recent job for a very satisfied cutomer. What do you think?

What does the pinestraw look like underneath or if turned? Does the dye not effect the neighboring vegetation?

It penetrates quite nicely with with pine straw. With mulch we have to turn the material and color again. Rinses right off plant material with water. Hardscapes are another story.

Looks really nice! How long did it take to do those few tree rings and beds? Do you install the pinestraw at the beginning of the season as well and what do you make spraying it compared to install?

It depends on client wants. We have several methods that have become successful with property managers. Our best is full install of straw and color in the spring and then come back and color again 6-8 months later. The colorant keeps the pine straw from decomposing as quickly. This way the property manager saves an entire application of staw.

To install and color is between 10-13 cents a sqaure foot, color only is basically 5 cents a square foot. Commercial properties like the idea as they are more concerned with coverage and color not the depth of the straw.

Hope that answered your questions

First I like the shirt second what do use to spray it with a skid sprayer turned down? I tried this several years back with a back pack sprayer and it was a pain in the ass and messey. Im glad it works for some but none of my customers have such big beds with nothing in them and it stains what ever it comes in contact with But Im glad to see some one making money doing that good luck

We have 600 gallon tank on a truck wiht a Honda motor to pump. I agree with the mess you make, but upon practice and learning how to prepare a site before treatment it gets easy. Just be prepared to ruin your shoes!

Glad you like the shirt. We do some touch up work with backpack sprayers and have found that the spray tip is crucial for keeping it neat.

We are growing into new markets. Tampa is our next stop. I know pine straw has its limits, but we are looking to do the same model im hardwood mulch markets too.
