All i have is a McClane blade edger. that i use once at the beginning of the season, then i keep them trimmed with my faithful echo srm 210's that i have had for 5 years,
all the edges you see have been trimmed by the string, :weightlifter:

A+ work as always FYS777.
jefflawn, you don't need a trencher, A flat shovel works good at first too, then maintained with a trimmer.

I believe the elevation is around 38 hundred feet from were i set, ya i open the dinning room shade in the morning and look at the mountains and watch the son shine on them as it raises. :clapping:

I like the little patches of turf here and there, blending into the curves of the landscape.......something different.

it may look nice but some are difficult to navigate sometimes, most what I have seen around here have 34 or 36" walk behinds with a couple of 21's. any bigger then that is over kill on the majority,... some times i look at the pic's that have wide open ground, and think it would be nice to ride all day.
