frozed hydro pump

I own a zero turn hustler z.I found out that my right hydro pump does is not working.I took off the pump belt and tried to turn the pump from underneath the pulley,it seems as if the pump is locked.Also with the mower off and in neutral i'm able to turn the wheel.Can someone tell me if my pump is bad or wheel motor or both.:confused:

What is your model and serial #? how many hours are on the mower? how old is it?
Its very rare that I hear of a locked up hydro pump.
As to being able to turn the wheel, there is a hydro release valve in the pump that would let the wheel freewheel, check to see if it is open by tightening it.
If you can get me more details I may be able to point you in the right direction, that or see a dealer ASAP.
