If anyone has a formula on how to charge for weed control, I would like for you to share it with me. I have been in lawn maintenance for many years but always subbed out the weed control/feritilization. I want to venture into this myself but am unsure of what to charge per 1000 sq ft. Any advise would be appreciated.

C(s) + O2(g) -> CO2(g)=$
N2(g) + 3H2(g) -> 2NH3(g)=$$
CaO(s) + H2O(l) -> Ca(OH)2(s)=$$$!

Sorry I just couldn't help it. :waving:

You charge as much as you can get. Just like any other service. You find where the market is at.

I just charge per weed. Baker's Dozen on Tuesdays before noon. Customer flags the ones they want gone, I spray 'em next day. Count the flags when I pick them up.

Well , you said that in the past, you always subbed this out. Then shouldn't you already know at least what your sub charged per 1000sq?

hailey what are your input costs and what do you want to make for your service/hr?
Add it up and go with it. Make sure your charge is in line with what you find in the area which you operate - ok to be a bit high but DON'T be low.

Hey I like that ideal. That way you could just get a couple of 2 gallon pumps, one for broad and one for grassy and go at it.:laugh::laugh:
