Was just wondering if any of you guys out there had any thoughts of the mow-aerator. I happened to see another landscaper in my area using them. you can also view them at mow-aerator.com

Never used one, but, from what I understand about aeration...there is a difference between aeration and poking holes in the ground and compacting the soil more. The only good I can see from poking holes in the ground would be seeding, and it looks like these holes would be too deep and spread out. Looks like a good gimmick for a TV commercial at 3am.

I suppose if you are dealing with a thatch layer as deep as the spikes for a temporary solution ..... otherwise IMO a Waste-O-Money.
