Hi Everybody...

I am looking for some artwork to put together a little marketing campaign. Something that shows how aeration works. It also would need to be a PDF or vectorized artwork. Below is a sample of something I am looking for (can't use it because it isn't vector of PDF).

Thanks in advance.

You can drop the link on here or email me at richardteaton@yahoo.com.

Someone posted this here a while back. I saved it, never knowing if it might come in handy someday or not. I've never used it for anything, but maybe it will help you out.

And not to put to fine a point on it, that artwork also belongs to my company. Funny how often we find it used without permission.

The key you want to get across is: soil plug + thatch out, air, water and fertilizer in.

Guess you should have put a copyright on it huh.

Guess you should know that copyright is implied.

@OP

Any image can be embedded into a PDF.

Why download trials?

http://sourceforge.net/projects/pdfcreator/

or

http://www.openoffice.org/

or any number of other open source utilities/apps that will allow you to work/print with pdf's.

If you were to download an Adobe trial to directly work/create pdf's, then Acrobat Pro is the one you want.

kiril, I have a program that generates PDF , it print directly to a pdf file. but I don't now of any programs to do the same thing for a vector file. I know Adobe illustrator does vector files, at least mine does...and that adobe does free trials...

Don't need a "program", you need a pdf printer. All illustrator is doing is printing the file out using the Adobe distiller (i.e. print server)

Here you go. A vector image (http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/e/e6/Phone.svg) into a pdf using the same printer as I used for the jpg.

BTW, I use Ghostscript since I am working in Linux.

You can use it in winblows to.

The GIMP rocks. It's not PS, but is damn close. Really should run it in Linux though.

There is also Cinepaint (http://www.cinepaint.org/) which fills in the gaps that GIMP doesn't provide for. However it is Linux/BSD/Mac only.

There is also GIMPshop (http://www.gimpshop.com/index.shtml), which is GIMP with a PS like interface.

News to me cause I don't, not even close. I do however know a little something about copyright law, and hence the reason for pointing out your obvious mistake.

FYI, I only comment on subjects I know something about .... and I don't speculate about subjects without verifying the veracity of the information. You might consider trying that in the future.
