I have a 5.0 tecumseh OHV that is very hard to get started and after it does start it will run good for about 5 min. then lose all power. Anyone have any helpfull tips for me to check to get this thing running the way its suppose to. Thanks for any info.

It might be the coil gone bad, they start to act up as the engine warms.

Most likely low compression/worn valve guides.....

Forgot to mention that it blows smoke out of the vent on the valve cover. And the compression was 40 on 1st pull, 45 on2nd pull, and 50 on 3rd and held for 5 min. Also the spark looks good with engine cold, why would it mess up warm.

50 on 3rd and held for 5 min.
50 isn't enough for easy starts or proper running and if it didn't hold 50 there'd be a problem with your compression tester.
Pull the head and you will most likely find the exhaust valve guide worn badly, It's pretty common on these engines.....
