I have a little wonder walk behind blower and was wondering if anyone could tell me where I could find a suction hose to attach to the intake and something to attach to the discharge to collect or redirect debris.

Is this even possible with the blowers?

Has anyone done this/ what are your opinions?

Thank you in advance for your help, Robbie

There are some that would allow a switch from blow to vac but I don't believe they are manufactured any more. You would need a very rugged impeller to suck up debris and I'm thinking most blowers that are designed to blow do not have that ruggedness. Of course if you wanted to drop a cool $12k you could buy one of those ride on blowers advertised here...they do switch from blower to loader...

It could be possible if you have the impeller with the flat fins. Most now are a turbine design. I have an old one that we used to use for both purposes. It became more of a pain than it was worth so I cut it up and redesigned it to be a full time truck loader. Biggest thing is that the impellers arent as strong as a real loader. I replace mine every 2 years.

Thanks guys, for the responces.

Do you know where I might find the parts to do the conversion?

I have an older model that I bought used and the guy I bought it from told me this could be done, I had just not heard of it or found parts.

I know my model has a metal impeller but I couldnt tell you if its flat or turbine style off the top of my head.

Thanks, Robbie

It needs to be a flat fin design. Other than that you will likely have to fabricate what you need. Factory designs generally where a flat front plate with a round cylinder to attach the intake hose to. The exhaust was usually not more than a piece to join the exit to the hose. On mine I cut off the housing and rotated it 90* to point up and then rewelded it on and added an exhaust shoot that sends it into the truck. There was more but that is basically what happened.
