Opinions on that truck?
How much would it cost to mount a flatbed or dump body?

Thank you for your opinions.

nice truck but its gonna cost you a ton of cash to add the bed to it, unless you can find a nice used one for cheap. id say upwards of 4k for a new dump bed installed, maybe more.

It would only be used to carry leaves and grass and to tow ~3000 lbs of equipment, so I could just build sides on a flatbed and use a load handler if the dump bed is too expensive.

Knapheide was offering rebates and discounts recently. Check with a local Knapheide dealer to see if they're still going on.

Okay I checked the VIN it confirmed my suspicions so now you have one problem its not a true cab and chassis it is a pick up with the box removed.

Now you have a problem any body designed for a cab and chassis WILL NOT fit because they are designed for a 34 inch wide frame that is 37 or something like that. All dump hoists (scissor) are designed for 34 inches.

So you make a dump body fit your going to be into some money. A flatdeck will have to be custom built.

The longest body you can put on that truck will be a 8 foot because the cab axle is too short. A regular cab and chassis has 60-84-102 cab axle a pick up truck has a 56 inch cab axle.

Unless you really want this truck be prepared to spend some money to make a body work on the truck.
