Going to look at this stand-on tomorrow morning. Based on the guys description of condition, I think I'll buy it. He had set price at 265$ but I got him down to 230$. What do you guys think, from the pics below.

For you guys that have one, how do you like it. I've heard some dont like the middle wheel strip, but I think it makes the yard stand apart, kinda like a walker. Any con's, pro's???

Ahhh crap... I cant the link to post, Im not sure how to do it. If you want to see if, go to cincinnati craigslist, farm and garden, then search exmark, and it's the second stand on listed. Sory for the incovience.

If i purchase it i'll post some pics of it and the mower and a yard ill cut with it.

My guys say they don't like the single wheel as much as they like the 2-wheel sulkys. All we use now is the 2-wheel type. They say that the 2-wheel is more stable. Also, there is more room to stand, and you can put your feet in more positions, which means more comfort.

I had one of the Exmark Stand On's, replaced it with a ProSlide XT and sold the Stand On. I did like the way that it latched up out of the way when not in use. The Stand On is well made, but it just didn't work for us. The biggest problem we had with the Stand On was the single tire track down the middle of our stripes. BTW the MSRP for the Stand On is ~$400 so the $230 price is not bad, but I would offer $200 if I were trying to buy it. Just my $0.02 for what it is worth. Good Luck with your purchase.

GraZ: We've never used the Proslide. Is riding over pavement/concrete with the Proslide a problem?

you'll like it. the only problem i have with mine is that you have a semi pneumatic tire on it and thats fine if you are under 250lbs. i'm right at the threshold and the tire chunked on me. i had to get the pneumatic tire for over 250lbs. its cheaper anyway. only cost around 80 bucks compared to the semi that costs around 115. anyway, i think you'll like it. i love the convenience of it folding up out of the way, well almost out of the way. sometimes you may have to leave it down if you are in a rutted area of lawn as it will take chunks out of the yard if its in the up position. anyway, goodluck and 230 is a steal for one.

Yes, the pavement & concrete does present a minor problem. You just have to remember that you need to step off in these areas or you will be buying new skid plates frequently.

Yes I think it was a great invest ment of 230$ the guy had it and also like the 2 wheeled sulkys and never realy used it. It's only 1 year old and I will say maby a few hours or so of use on it. I have pics of some yards i cut with it on my pic thread. Please check them out and comment. thanks,
Drew
