Anyone wear a jock while mowing with a stand up sulky? I didn't but found out it is a good idea. I started having pains in my groin area and found out after taking an ultra sound that I had a varacocele (sp) vein going to my left jewel. Doc said that it could have been from not wear a jock strap--all the bouncing and swaying could've caused the problem. I have switched to a riding sulky but have still been advised to wear a jock.

That may be just from a lack of support in general, not just from riding the sulky. I think a jock may be extreme, but you may want to consider good briefs rather than boxers or going commando. I can see how it would have an effect after awhile, though...
Always remember to flex your knees, and for those that us stand on sulkies regularly,...do yourselves a favor, and always run the tires low. This softens and cushions the ride SO much, and overall makes a huge difference.
