Thought I'd throw a few comments in about my NH 1030. I had been looking for a compact tractor for a while and really didn't see much information out there about the 1030. To make a long story short, I took a chance. It's been two weeks now and I'm more than happy so far. It's a 28 hp tractor on a compact frame. The 3 pt hitch lifts 1,000 lbs 24" behind. About all I've done so far is cut grass (with the 60" belly mower) and move a lot of dirt with the front end loader. The loader doesn't have tremendous "dig out" power, but I've managed to dig up a number of bushes and shrubs so far during my business. I've leveled and graded several sites with it already and I'm happy with the results. The mower is great and leave a great cut. I'm about ready to pick up a york rake and am looking at a 55 Gal 3 pt hitch sprayer for my business as well. So far I have no regrets. It's filling in well with my small turf business. I'm happy to provide more info if anyone is interested. I'm also interested in a PTO driven aerator if anyone has some info. (if there is one this tractor can handle)

Good luck with your new toy. Post some pics when you get a chance.

I would get a non pto driven aerator personally.

Nice purchase, I'm looking at same model to add to my operation I like it because of the 1000# lift on the 3-point and the tractor is not much bigger than a sub-compact . I would like to know if you got the r-4 tires and how there doing on turf

Here's a picture of it with my spray rig. I went for the turf tires. I'm on a lot of lawns with it, and so far the footprint is very gentle. I'm really happy so far with the purchase. The quality of cut with the 60 inch deck is much better than I expected.
