My truck broke down today when I was supossed to cut one of my lawns. Guess what?? It was a ford!! So I could not cut.
Today the lawn is supposed to be aerated and overseeded. By Trugreen How long do i have to wait before i can cut the lawn??

PROBABLY depends on when the Ford is fixed.

Dont knock Ford dodges and chevys break too. On the lawn I would recommend at least a week and a half to let the seed come up.

Bad idea to wait for the seed to come up. You cut when it NEEDS to be cut. As long as it gets watered in....your fine. Just make sure the customer knows this as well.

Cut now ,you ever cut a lawn that had plugs on them and a hard frost too? Those plugs are like mud bullets!

yeah and if they are wet mud your tire will be mud covered before you get the yard cut ,i dont like that slippin and sliding and as long as the seed doesnt leave the yard what harm in cutting the yard

Wait atleat 1.5 -2 weeks, Let seed get "rooted in". I mowed a yard I aerated and overseeded 2 weeks ago today, lady had a house warming party Saturday and wanted the yard mowed before then, Its been raining for 2days. My first extremly wet mow with the 36"Turbo Force cut extremly good for how wet/tall the grass was, single pass in 4-5"Tall did fine, I double cut most of the 1/3acre backyard it was 6"Tall or so, grass really grew, took alot longer with the 36 than the lazer z but it was too wet for the z.

If you are picking up seed and/or aeration plugs, thenraise the deck or slow the RPMs. Letting the grass grow for an extra week and a half until it roots is madness.
12valve mows when its too wet!??!! Because he blew it off until it was 6" tall? Because he believed it was wrong to mow plugs?
Where do all these ideas come from and why do professionals adhere to them?
Give me a rational reason -- why you don't mow after aeration and overseeding.

Y'know... unless you're bagging, I'd do it as soon as possible. The aeration has done its work, so unless you're cutting very short right now, I don't see mulching harming enough seeds to matter. But then, I live in Texas and you may be dealing with a lawn or type of grass that this would not work.
Just watch out for unclaimed flags.
