From manual. In cold weather, pull engine speed controller all the way back. Turn key to on, preheat light will light. When preheat light goes out, turn key switch to start. After engine is running at fast speed, slowly return lever to 1/2 speed. Allow warmup. We are experiencing our first cold weather, had to just look up startup procedure.
